Pedrali Company profile
Established in 1963 in Palazzolo sull’Oglio, Pedrali is today a company that produces contemporary design furniture for public spaces, offices and homes in its production sites in Mornico al Serio (Bergamo) and Manzano (Udine). The headquarters in Mornico al Serio also features the automatic warehouse, whose outside concept was entrusted to the architect Cino Zucchi.
The collection is the result of a rigorous and careful research that is realized in the creation of industrial design products made of plastic, metal, wood and upholstered materials.
A quality-oriented manufacturing process, with scrupulous sourcing of certified raw materials, research and true passion for cutting-edge machinery, step by step planning in every phase, with the precision typical of a craftsman: it’s this blend of elements that has made Pedrali a world-class creator of contemporary industrial design.
These are joined by a profitable collaboration with numerous designers that has allowed us to achieve, over the years, important awards such as the Compasso d’Oro ADI for the Frida chair. Following the cornerstones of a 100% made in Italy production philosophy, the company’s activity, since the end of the ’70s, is confronted with the international market through a distribution network that reaches over 100 countries.
Pedrali is a member of ADI, Associazione per il Disegno Industriale (Association for the Industrial Design).

Sustainability
To produce durable products, both from the aesthetic point of view and from the resistance one, is the first element that ensures sustainability. During the production process particular attention is paid to the materials used, raw material consumption, to the optimization of the resources, waste management and emissions control. In order to simplify the recycling process all products are designed to be disassembled and brought again to monomaterial elements.
The high quality and respect for the environment therefore represent established practices, as demonstrated by the ISO 9001 certifications for the quality of business processes, ISO 14001 for a production based on a sustainable environmental policy, FSC ™ C114358 for the use of wood from certified forests. The products of the collection meet the European standards UNI-EN 16139: 2013 of resistance, durability and safety for seating
Organic coating
In 2017 Pedrali takes a further step towards environmental sustainability through the use of plant-derived water-based paints, that allorws to keep high quality standards in addition to a substantial decrease in VOC (Volatile Organic Compounds). These chemical compounds, contained in normal paints, evaporate at room temperature and can cause serious harm to human health, as well as contribute to air pollution. The result is a healthier and less hazardous working environment, since these paints are non-flammable; less air pollution, and vast energy savings, leading to the reduction of CO2 emissions.
